Up for sale is this brand new MESA Roadster combo. It has been open and played, but is still brand new. I bought this amp a couple months ago, and a month later my band broke up. I decided I am going to take some time off from playing, and I’d rather try to get my money out of this while I can. If you like hard rock and metal, then this amp is for you! This is a monster of an amp. There
is so much to say about this amp, it’s ridiculous! Celestion Vintage 30
speakers, Closed back (Nice tight low end), 4 independant channels,
beautiful tube driven reverb (programmable for each channel). This
thing has great cleans all the way up to brutal face crushing overdrive.
Each channel is individually programmable to run at either 50 or 100
watts. Reverb and FX loop are also programmable per channel. The amp
has an 8 button footswitch to switch all four channels, reverb, tuner
mute, fx loop, and solo function. It has one fx loop with level control
as well. This is like the swiss army knife of amps! If you play rock,
metal, even country, this amp is great. It is a heavy beast, but the
heavy duty casters that came with it are a lifesaver. Very rugged and
high quality piece of gear. If treated good, this amp will last someone
a lifetime. The coolest thing about this amp is MADE IN THE USA!!
This is no cheap mass production amp. These amps are made to order.
Hand built in Petaluma, CA. Also, another cool thing is the tubes are
just plug and play. Most amps have a bias control for when replacing
the tubes, and you have to take the amp to a service tech to have it
done unless you know how to do it. MESA’s are a hard set bias. There
are no adjustments. Just pop in the new tubes and jam! This thing is
truly a work of art, and built like a tank. I just can’t afford to keep
it. It is brand new, except for playing some band rehearsals at low
volume. The speakers aren’t even broken in yet. This amp was $2200
brand new when I got it a couple months ago. I’ll take $1950 cash.
