This auction is for a MESA BOOGIE DUAL RECTIFIER SOLO HEAD in very nice condition. A couple of scuffs, but nothing major at all. Build quality is fantastic. No cheap plastic knobs, no cheap vinyl. Only the best, and it sounds awesome! oaded with 11 tubes, it has Killer gain sound, yet surprisingly versatile and the best sounding in the Boogie lineup. It is so easy to dial in great sounds with this, and it is so user friendly. Lots of tone shaping switches for you tweakers though. I have had a lot of great sounding boutique heads with four channels etc. etc., but it takes months to figure out, and memorize where everything is. I don’t have time for that. This one has the controls for the channels stacked, so you’ll never find yourself struggling to find the volume knob!
Front controls are: Power, Standby, Jeweled power indicator, Loop Active Master, Master, Presence, Bass, Mid, Treble, Gain Footswitch, and input.
On back, there’s Orange/Red channel selector, Orange channel gain select (variable high gain/normal and clean rhythm, Channel style select (Org to modern and Red to vintage), External switching (Chan./Loop), 1/4″ speaker jacks for 4,8, and 16 ohms, Slave level and 1/4″ jack, Loop select (Bypass loop, loop on org and red, org auto, red auto,ext sw) Effects loop send and return 1/4″ jacks with send and mix levels, Bias Switch EL34/6L6, Rectifier select (silicon diodes/ vacuum tubes), 4 amp slo-blo fuse, and spongy/bold switch.
Comes with power cord.
