And of all the heads of played on the Fat Clean setting on this amp is the best clean sound I have ever heard. It’s the kind of tone that will make everyone ask you for your setup! You can also switch between 50 or 100 watts for the clean channel separate from the distortion channel.Channel Two includes 3 settings as well. Crunch, Tite Gain, Fluid Drive. The distortion on this amp is unreal as well. It’s a great sounding amp with plenty of distortion and all the tone you could ever ask for! You can also switch between 50 or 100 watts for the distortion channel separate from the clean channel.Among these options you also have the option to switch between Bold (push more wattage) or Spongy (Push less wattage) which will help you to adjust your volume and tone depending on the gig you are playing at.This head runs perfectly and the only very minor flaw is that the master volume pot is a little dirty and when adjusting volume at a low level it will crackle a tiny bit. However it’s an easy fix you can just buy a new pot for 5-10$ at your local music shop or do what I’ve done and just choose to bi-pass the FX loop and adjust the volume level of channel 1 and channel 2 separate. This will bi-pass the master volume and help you to dial in your own perfect volume level depending on which channel you are using.I am selling this head because I no longer need it anymore, I am a drummer by heart and hardly play guitar anymore and will be going off to school soon so I have no use for this head and could use the extra money for books and such. This head is serial number ST-000294 which means this was one of the first 300 Mesa Boogie Stiletto’s in existence. Keep in mind that is for the Ace, Deuce, and Trident! For any serious Mesa fan you know how big this is. This is a very very popular head and will be around for a long time to come so in the future this head will most likely appreciate in value because it is one of the first released.  My first Mesa in 1981 had one of these- I want to say it was Eminence made, but made for Mesa. Sounded great! This one came of of a Black Face Fender Deluxe, the guy had owned the amp over 20 years, and he told me it was in there when he bought it. It sounded great in the Deluxe, but was a little overkill. Doesn’t rub, just a dusty cone, no tears or issues we can see. It’s heavy, about 20 lbs boxed, so UPS shipping. Thanks for looking!
