PREMIUM TUBE SETS

I search
the world over for vacuum tubes sets which I classify as PREMIUM.  They are value priced (they don’t cost a
small fortune) and make you and your amp sound great.

I choose
many tubes from the 1940’s to the present. 
Some tubes may have been hidden away for years in old warehouses,
military bunkers, storage sheds or grandpa’s attic.  They come from Russia,
Europe, Asia, and the good ole USA.  Recent great finds include Russian military
(1960’s to 1980’s usually including 6V6/6N6C, 6L6GC equivalents, and 6BQ5
equivalents, etc).  When they get into
my tube lab, they are quality tested on my Hickok 539B or 580 tube testers for
gain, life test, shorts and physical appearance.  MATCHED TUBE SETS are matched first for
manufacturer and then for gain/current draw.

When I get
tubes that are decades old it is often hard to determine if they are New in
the Box (NIB), New Old Stock (NOS), bulk lots sold without boxes, or
replacement tubes with great life still left in them.  My extensive testing means I throw out a
lot of old and new tubes if they test below minimum “NEW” reading on my calibrated tube tester or they
don’t pass the LIFE TEST.  You can be assured that all the tubes I
sell are NIB/NOS or tested better than new.

I don’t
specify the brands sold in Premium Tube sets since I want to give you the
BEST VALUE for the price. With over 5,000 satisfied customers on EBAY, my selection criteria and value
pricing must be working and I am sure you will be pleased with your

MESA BOOGIE ROAD KING / GREAT SHAPE / NEW TUBES

Up for sale this Mesa Road King, it needs little introduction as it’s one of the best handmade quality amps in the world. It looks great and works as it should with no humming or pops while switching to the other channels or any other issues at all. It’s a US black front version so it will need a good stepdown adapter, if your country has the standard european outlet I will provide a brand new boxed adapter of which I’m certain it can handle the amp (120 Watt Tube Power). It’s a 4 channel amp with 3 switchable voicings on each channel which provides a tone variety of 12 different sounds from super clean to muddy blues and vintage rock to metal distortion. On every channel you can preset a different combination of tubes (2xEL34/4x6L6). Also the options for adding effects are out of this world, with tons of (also triggering) possibilities, just take a look at the back panel.The top has been serviced before the sale so it had a checkup and a full cryo retube by Watford Valves in the UK which is not cheap. An 8 button MIDI king controller is included, It has a few minor scuffs but it is really very…very clean and works 100%. This amp has been kept in a flightcase (now sold) in a smoke free environment and hasn’t been gigged.I will ship this amp by courier, boxed within a box with loads of padding material to ensure safe shipping. PREMIUM TUBE SETS

I search
the world over for vacuum tubes sets which I classify as PREMIUM.  They are value priced (they don’t cost a
small fortune) and make you and your amp sound great.

I choose
many tubes from the 1940’s to the present. 
Some tubes may have been hidden away for years in old warehouses,
military bunkers, storage sheds or grandpa’s attic.  They come from Russia,
Europe, Asia, and the good ole USA.  Recent great finds include Russian military
(1960’s to 1980’s usually including 6V6/6N6C, 6L6GC equivalents, and 6BQ5
equivalents, etc).  When they get into
my tube lab, they are quality tested on my Hickok 539B or 580 tube testers for
gain, life test, shorts and physical appearance.  MATCHED TUBE SETS are matched first for
manufacturer and then for gain/current draw.

When I get
tubes that are decades old it is often hard to determine if they are New in
the Box (NIB), New Old Stock (NOS), bulk lots sold without boxes, or
replacement tubes with great life still left in them.  My extensive testing means I throw out a
lot of old and new tubes if they test below minimum “NEW” reading on my calibrated tube tester or they
don’t pass the LIFE TEST.  You can be assured that all the tubes I
sell are NIB/NOS or tested better than new.

I don’t
specify the brands sold in Premium Tube sets since I want to give you the
BEST VALUE for the price. With over 5,000 satisfied customers on EBAY, my selection criteria and value
pricing must be working and I am sure you will be pleased with your

will meet the specifications of your particular equipment or are fit for a
particular application.

If you need to
return your purchase and request a refund, we do not refund shipping and
insurance charges that were incurred to ship the product to you or return the
product to us.  If your purchase has a
refund option (check the auction), we will issue a refund only after the
products are returned and have been verified to be the same ones sent and
also test new or better on out tube tester.

I’m selling a Mesa Boogie Road King Series 1 4 channel head. Please see Mesa Boogie’s website for all the details, but basically each channel can individually be set to 50w, 100w or 120w using 4 6l6 power tubs and 2 el34 tubes.. So basically every tone imaginable can be made with this amp, from sparkling cleans to agressive overdrive and all in between. It comes with “king controller” footswitch, footswitch cover, slip cover, footswitch cable and manual. It was just re-tubed with all Mesa Boogie tubes as well. It has lived in a smoke free environment, never gigged with. The only time this has been out of my house is for these pictures to get better lighting! Please contact me for any questions.

This cabinet is the perfect companion for the road King Amplifier, adds a lot of tonal options over and beyond the standard 4 x 12″ rectifier cabinet.
