I search the world over for vacuum tubes sets which I classify as PREMIUM.  They are value priced (they don’t cost a small fortune) and make you and your amp sound great.

I choose many tubes from the 1940’s to the present.  Some tubes may have been hidden away for years in old warehouses, military bunkers, storage sheds or grandpa’s attic.  They come from Russia, Europe, Asia, the good ole USA.  Recent great finds include Russian military (1960’s to 1980’s usually including 6V6/6N6C, 6L6GC equivalents, and 6BQ5 equivalents, etc).  When they get into my tube lab, they are quality tested on my Hickok 539B or 580 tube testers for gain, life test, shorts and physical appearance.  MATCHED TUBE SETS are matched first for manufacturer and then for gain/current draw.

When I get tubes that are decades old it is often hard to determine if they are New in the Box (NIB), New Old Stock (NOS), or bulk lots sold without boxes, or slightly used with great life still left in them.  My extensive testing means I throw out a lot of tubes if they test below minimum “NEW” reading as established by the tube tester manuals (ON MY TUBE TESTER).  You can be assured that all the tubes I sell are NIB/NOS or tested better than new.

I don’t specify the brands sold in Premium Tube sets since I want to give you the BEST VALUE for the price. Gently used Mesa Boogie 5:25 1×10 combo amp.I bought this for a band situation that is no longer active. Was only used for rehersal in smoke free home.It has low hours on it and has about 3 years of the warranty left on it from Mesa.For specifics on the amp you should check their website, www.MesaBoogie.com.It is a great sounding amplifier with the ability to play at lower levels and sound good. MESA BOOGIE 550 EXPRESS IN CUSTOM RED TOLEX!

This amp was NEVER gigged or taken out of the house. Comes with remainder of 5 yr warrentee which is about 3.5 years left on it.

I do believe its transferable…but not entirely sure ..

Amp is PRISTINE!  PERFECT cond!  The cab has the Celestion C 90 in there..its also the extra wide 112…the sound fills the room.

Comes with footswitch, and covers and the special mesa cable to hook up the switch (you cant buy this from GC!)

Custom tolex on a Boogie is an expensive option…so get a deal here!
