someone is going to get a great buy on an amp with a lot of variety in clean,
crunch and high gain sounds. 

CONDITION: The amp shows road your
typical gig wear, bit it’s far from being the most ragged amp on the

The tubes are fairly recent and seem pretty healthy to me.  This amp can get ripping loud as Mesa amps do, but over
some sweet cleans too.  All the channel
and footswitch lights work as the photos will show.  The footswitch operates as it should in
changing channels, activating the “solo” feature and turning the reverb on and
off.  There is only one issue with
the amp that I can find and that’s why this amp is being sold at a low price
and “as is” with no warranty or refund offered. 
For some reason the tone controls for channel one are not working.  The other two channels work just fine.  I also recommend the new owner to have all
the pots cleaned and lubricated when having that first channel checked
out.  However channels 2 & 3 are
quite functional if you can live without the “clean” channel and want to hold
off on the repair of channel 1.

This is a great amp, but I must part with it because I am working on upgrading my studio and am playing more classical guitar than electric. Plus, this is my second amp and I don’t use it too often. I did replace the stock Celestion Black Widow speakers with Celestion Vintage 30′s out of a 90′s era Mesa Boogie 4×12 cabinet. This gave the amp a more traditional Mesa sound.The amp does come with the cover, but I do not know as of now where the manual is. I will do my best to find it before I send the amp, but am not guaranteeing that this will be included. There is a small one inch tear in the grill cloth and I am missing the screws for the the grill cloth as well. The grill cloth stays firmly in place and you can hardly tell that the screws are missing. Please message me with any questions. Happy bidding.

This is a Mesa Boogie Lonestar Special 4×10 tube guitar amp combo in excellent condition. This is the rare 4×10 model with 2 Jensen Alnico’s and 2 Mesa Black Shadows. This is an awesome amplifier and works perfectly. It has been well taken care of, with just some normal light wear. A few small tolex tears, mostly on the bottom lip but the amp is overall in great shape. Comes with the footswitch, cover and power cable. Works just like new.
