This is a Mesa Boogie Rectifier 2×12 guitar speaker cab with Celestion Vintage 30′s in good condition. This is an awesome speaker cab and works perfectly. Comes with 2 Celestion vintage 30 speakers. This cab is in overall good shape. Has some normal tolex wear and marks as you can see in the pics but overall nice. Check the pics thoroughly. Sounds killer, with tons of power for any setup. This auction is for a custom modified Mesa Roadster combo cabinet, modified to be used as an extension cabinet. I modified this myself. I have built several amplifier and cabinet projects.
The original chassis and all electronics were removed from a standard
Mesa Roadster combo and used on another project. I thought the combo
cabinet would make a great looking extension cabinet if the front parts
were suitably modified to close in where the amplifier used to be. I think it came out quite amazing!
As you can see the space where the chassis was normally at is
covered with a black tolex panel. This makes it look awesome! All
hardware and woodworking looks professional. A hinged door is added to
the back to convert the area for storage of cables and etc. Notice the
antique brass corners and hardware on the door for style and durability!
This storage space makes it very convenient loading in and out of gigs
or just storing gear at home! The aircraft type side pop out
handles are installed for easy carrying. Another cool thing is the height
of the cabinet is more comfortable to access the knobs of an amp
sitting on top of it.
2 Jensen C12K 12 inch speakers are installed as the drivers. I
wanted something with a little different sound and power than everyone
else has. The Jensen speakers are what is normally in a Fender Twin, so
you get a sound like a Twin and Mesa cabinets combined! Each Jensen is
rated for 100 watts at 8 ohms. These alone typically cost over $100.00 each when new!There are two Neutrik locking ¼ inch
jacks on the back to prevent the cables from pulling out during a
performance. There is a switch on the back to select 100 watt 8 ohm
stereo or 200 watt 4 ohm mono connection to the jacks. All components are operating at original condition. It was built fall of 2011 and I did not use it very much.
Why am I selling it? Frankly, this is way more speaker than I
need. I kind of overdid myself here in size and power! If I played out this would fill a
large hall easily, but it is too much for my family home. I also need the money right now to pay some bills, quite honestly.
The overall condition is really clean. For accuracy, I must mention that there are some repair marks
that are barely visible on the seams on the top corners. This is a clear 1/16th inch wide glue line following the seam that is matched to the color of the cabinet. You have to see
this in person to really appreciate the quality. My camera does not do it
justice. Mesa cabinetry is made from marine grade plywood so it is built like a battleship!
Mesa 2×12 cabinets normally sell over $600.00 new, so this is a
great deal at $199.00! Don’t miss a chance to own a unique cabinet that looks new and
give yourself tone that no one else has! There is no reserve.If you wish to pick this up locally in the Fort Wayne Indiana area, I can make arrangements otherwise is will be shipped by UPS ground and double boxed for safety.

Our Return Policy:

For any guitar, amplifier, or effect pedal being sold as “New” we offer a 48 hour return policy (not counting the shipping time).The item MUST be returned in its original condition, with no signs of use, wear and tear, damage, etc., with ALL of its original packaging including all of the original paperwork (manuals, unfilled warranty card, etc.). Any item that is returned that does not meet these conditions will be subject to a restock fee of a minimum of 15% of the purchase price.

The refund amount for any item will be less the original shipping cost, and return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

For any item being sold as used or “As-Is” there are no returns.

Shipping:

Orders placed before 3pm CST Tuesday through Friday are generally shipped the same day, orders placed after 3pm CST are generally shipped the next business day.
